Description
With some families, the best approach to family therapy is play therapy--families that need to learn to have fun together, families that need to learn new positive ways of communicating, and families that need to learn to support and encourage one another can all benefit from a play-based intervention approach. In this class, you will learn to use Adlerian play therapy tools to build relationships with the various members of the family, conceptualize family members and their interactional patterns, help family members gain insight into themselves and into family relationships, and facilitate members learning and practicing more constructive ways of interacting with one another.
