Adler & Ricky Bobby: Talladega Nights and Adlerian Psychotherapy
Using Talladega Night to Understand Adlerian Psychology
Description
While a great comedy film, Talladega Nights is also a film with significant insights about why people do what they do and how they change. This workshop will look at the film as emblematic of Adlerian theory and psychotherapy, with emphasis placed on early recollections, the creative self, and the functional role of symptoms.
