Harry Potter and the Adlerian Quest: Turning Mistakes into Resilience and Significance
This workshop leverages Harry Potter's transformative journey to illustrate how Adlerian psychology can help clients view mistakes as opportunities for growth, emphasizing the importance of courage, community, and resilience in overcoming struggles with inferiority, belonging, and identity.
Description
What if we treated mistakes like stepping stones instead of shame traps? In this workshop, we’ll follow Harry Potter’s journey from “the boy under the stairs” to the courageous, connected young leader who ultimately triumphs—not because he’s perfect, but because he keeps choosing growth. Using Adlerian psychology, we’ll explore how Harry’s struggles with inferiority, belonging, and identity mirror real-life client experiences. Together, we’ll highlight how courage, social interest, and community help transform failure into resilience and guide clients toward lives of significance and meaning.
