Using Enneagrams with Personality Priorities and Crucial Cs in Adlerian Play Therapy

Explore the Enneagram through an Adlerian Play Therapy lens to understand personality patterns, Crucial Cs, play themes, and therapeutic interventions that foster growth and a sense of belonging.

Description

This interactive training integrates Enneagram theory with Adlerian Play Therapy concepts to help clinicians deepen their understanding of clients' personality patterns, core motivations, and relational dynamics. Participants will explore how each Enneagram type may influence a child's beliefs about self, others, and the world, while examining connections to the Adlerian Crucial Cs of Connect, Capable, Count, and Courage. Through case examples, experiential activities, and clinical application, attendees will learn to identify common play themes, mistaken beliefs, strengths, and growth opportunities associated with each type. Clinicians will leave with practical strategies to strengthen therapeutic relationships, enhance case conceptualization, support parents and caregivers, and foster greater belonging, significance, resilience, and social interest among children, adolescents, and families.
