Description

In this class, play therapists will learn how to elevate their video game expertise by integrating it into their play therapy sessions. This integration enhances the therapeutic experience for play therapy clients and allows play therapists to create a more engaging environment that can make play therapy clients feel more comfortable and open during sessions.  Participants will explore techniques for weaving gaming elements into play therapy interventions, enabling therapists to leverage the captivating nature of video games to promote emotional expression, social skills, and problem-solving skills.

 

2 Non-Contact CE Hours (1 hour Play Therapy Seminal or Historically Significant Theories, 1 hour Play Therapy Skills & Method, and 1 Play Therapy Special Topics).
