Learn ways to work with parents of your play therapy clients

Description

Parent consultation is an integration component to Adlerian play therapy.  In this interactive, half-day training, the presenters will walk you through the parent consultation process across the four phases of Adlerian play therapy. We, utilizing the Adlerian play therapy framework, will discuss case examples and show brief video examples to illustrate (a) session progress, (b) resistant parents, and (c) skills unique to connecting with parents of play therapy clients. We will provide a skills checklist for working with parents of play therapy clients in your handouts and highlight specific skills using case examples.
