Description
Teacher consultation is an integral component to Adlerian play therapy. In this interactive, half-day training, the presenters will explore with you the teacher consultation process. We will utilize the Adlerian framework to better understand the principles as related to teachers. Come ready to play, gain skills, and insight on how to walk alongside teachers through the consultation process with teachers of play therapy clients.

Objectives
By the end of this webinar, participant will be able to:
- Describe at least two teacher-specific skills for teacher consultations in the play therapy process.
- Explain how to identify the personality priorities of teachers who work with their play therapy clients.
- Describe and demonstrate unique ways of interacting with teachers of play therapy clients based on their personality priorities.
- Name and describe a least 3 different ways to advocate for play therapy clients’ needs in IEP Meetings.
- Describe how to facilitate teachers’ use of encouragement.
- Describe and demonstrate how to help teachers recognize goals of misbehaviors, personality priorities, and Crucial Cs as tools for better understanding their students.
