Modeling within Adlerian Play Therapy

Come and learn how to use modeling more effectively in Adlerian play therapy.

Description

Adlerian play therapy’s goal is to help shift the play therapy client’s pattern of thinking, feeling, and behaving.  Modeling is a fundamental component of play.  It allows the child to transmit adapting coping skills through a toy that acts out the thinking, feeling, or behaving that the play therapist wants the child to learn.  Modeling can also be present in other forms, such as books, movies or television shows.  In this workshop you will learn how to use modeling more effectively and precisely to improve the lives of your play therapy clients.

2 Live Webinar CE hours (Non-Contact)  (2 hours on Play Therapy Skills and Methods) This workshop meets APT's definition of "Live Webinar."
