Do you feel stuck in helping child clients gain insight? In this online, interactive workshop, the instructors will use didactic teaching, encouragement, videos, and modeling to help you refine your skills so that you will be able to use play therapy skills and techniques to help children gain insight into how they see themselves, others and the world. This refresher course will focus solely on PHASE III of AdPT to further improve your skills and techniques such as developing metaphors, structured play techniques, art, storytelling, sandtray, and metacommunication. The instructors will provide tips for effectively using these techniques with child during this phase of the play therapy process. Attendees will deepen their understanding and application of effective techniques and techniques for playfully engaging with children to provide insight into their view of self, others, and the world.
