Objectives

    1. Explain theoretical foundations and principles underlying the incorporation of humor within the context of Adlerian Play therapy.
    2. Describe at least three (3) benefits and risks of humor, particularly in the context of play therapy.
    3. Explain the four (4) types of humor and explore how they can be applied in the context of play therapy.[TK1] 
    4. Describe and demonstrate techniques for skillfully integrating humor into therapeutic interactions with young clients, promoting emotional connection and rapport.
    5. Demonstrate how to effectively use humor in the framework of Adlerian play therapy to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
