Incorporating the Integrative Developmental Model of Supervision with the Crucial Cs in Play Therapy Supervision and Consultation

Combine the Integrative Developmental Model of supervision and the Adlerian concept of the Crucial Cs in your play therapy supervision/consultation.

Description

The practical application of the constructs of Individual Psychology lends itself to the clinical supervision of play therapists. In Adlerian supervision/consultation, it is important for to help play therapists develop goals for the improvement of their play therapy, explore their lifestyles, foster their Crucial Cs, and search for ways their mistaken beliefs and attitudes can interfere with their ability to be effective with clients (Gungor, 2017). We have designed this workshop as a vehicle for supervisors/consultants to get reacquainted with the Integrative Developmental Model (IDM) of supervision and to help them think about ways they can use their understanding of the Crucial Cs (Lew & Bettner, 1998), along with the IDM, to identify areas in which their play therapy supervisees are struggling and develop strategies for supporting their personal and professional growth.

3 Live Webinar CE hours (Non-Contact) (Includes 3 hours on Play Therapy Supervision) This workshop meets APT's definition of "Live Webinar."
