Kim Feeney

Kim Feeney, LISW, LCSW, RPT-S, CAdPT-A, ICST-P Kim holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Iowa and has a private practice in Davenport, IA. Kim is a dedicated and active leader in her field, serving as the Iowa Association for Play Therapy president and holding memberships in the National Association of Social Workers, the Association for Play Therapy, and the International Association of Sandtray Therapists.

Kim specializes in Adlerian play therapy and sandtray therapy, with expertise in working with children and families to understand the reasons behind behaviors and develop effective strategies. Her commitment to continuing education is evident in her numerous certifications, including Advanced Certified Adlerian Play Therapist, Internationally Credentialed Sandtray Therapist Provider, and EMDR Certified Therapist and Consultant. In addition to her core modalities, Kim also incorporates EMDR and Theraplay into her work with children, ensuring her clients receive the highest quality of care informed by the latest research and best practices.

When she is not in the office or playroom, Kim can be found reading a book, spending time with family, or watching a sporting event.

Kim is an Approved Adlerian Play Therapy Consultant. Her charge for a consultation session is $125.
