Colleen Abendroth

Colleen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor™ (RPT-S™), EMDR-trained therapist, and Certified Geek Therapist.  She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Colleen works for a small community nonprofit organization in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, specializing in working with children ages 12 and younger, their families, and adults. She is passionate about Adlerian Play Therapy and enjoys helping other clinicians develop practical, creative, and intentional ways to incorporate Adlerian Play Therapy into their work with children and families. Outside of work, Colleen can be found reading Harry Potter for the millionth time, crocheting, baking, hiking, or spending time with her husband, two children, and dog.
